They had a right to be. The Toyota sedan that had just shown off its tight turning radius was stolen. The passenger jumped out of the car and went inside the store as the officer called for backup.
That passenger, Juan Gildelamadrid, 42, of Bowdoin St., tried to walk away from police when he approached him. That was likely because he had three outstanding warrants for receiving a stolen vehicle, Worcester police said. They put him in handcuffs.
The driver, Sonia Bracero, 38, of Auburn, was arrested and charged with receiving a stolen motor vehicle and operating a vehicle with a suspended license, police said.
